We've been working with Mobility Buddy for coming up to 3 months now, looking after both their Pay Per Click Advertising and ongoing Online Marketing including search engine optimisation.
We inherited the site which is often quite problematic but in this instance hasn't held us back significantly. An OsCommerce site with customised elements, it's fairly well setup to allow us to get in and amend everything that we've needed to so far.
Coming from a point of ranking virtually nowhere for any of their keywords, we've started getting some very good results for them, particularly when it comes to brand names such as Shoprider or Pride Scooters. A slightly tougher nut to crack are the more general keywords such as disabled scooters but we're progress here to. We may need to make some more fundamental changes to the wording on the site to achieve success here.
The Living Aids section is one that I'm particularly interested in as after graduation back in 1997, I was very keen on moving into the design of living aids for the elderly and disabled. Unfortunately that didn't really happen but I'm always keeping an eye out for what is out there. Mobility Buddy has a great range of commodes and other more direct improvements to day-to-day living such as kitchen equipment like Easyturn Tap Turners which may look rather mundane but will make a huge difference to some who has lost use of their fingers from arthritis or an accident.
Moving forward, we're very optimistic about what we can do for Mobility Buddy, so keep a lookout for their site as we're hoping for it to become the #1 place for disabled scooters and living aids in the UK.
