Promoting Your Sweet Shop

Your Sweet Shop is a client that we've had for some time now and one that we've had some good success with so far, but being a team of perfectionists(!), there's always more that we can do. My task this week is to try and improve how well they rank for their range of sugarfree sweets and diabetic chocolate.

As the site has been around for a while and we've done as much as we can on the pages itself, it's now a case of building links in from relevant sites and creating some kind of a buzz about these words. We've already created a Facebook page which we keep up to date with new content and products as they come in and linked to this from various sweet appreciation groups and diabetic support groups to build a few links and create some interest.

We've also created a Squidoo lens all about the website. This is a great source of quality links and something that we can easily grow and develop as part of the Squidoo network.

Today, I'm going to use one of my other blogs Nottingham Massage Advice to write a post about diabetes, diet and sugarfree foods. This should give me plenty of opportunities to create links targetted to their products with relevant text surrounding the nitty gritty. Linking between these blogs and the blogs of my colleagues should help to get these articles listed with the search engines and by definition, lift up Your Sweet Shop as a result.
